Contribute to the Campaign
Campaigns are expensive! Signs, websites, videos, events, tee shirts, pens, buttons, and other "swag" cost far more than they did just a few years ago.
Councilmembers make $300/month and the mayor makes $500/month. All of the campaign expenses can easily add up to more than the candidate gets paid in a year - and that's if s/he wins.
Asking for money is the aspect of running for office that I like the least, but if you're able and inclined to donate, it will be appreciated more than you know. Every little bit helps.

- You are not making or authorizing a contribution in the name of or on behalf of another person unless you have disclosed in writing to the recipient the name and address of the person actually making the contribution.
- You are not making the contribution under a false name or anonymously.
- You are not making the contribution on behalf of a corporation or labor union as defined in Texas Election Code Chapter 253.091 in violation of Chapter 253, subchapter D.

There are no limitations on the dollar amount of contributions from individuals or political action committees.
Contributions from corporations, certain associations, and labor unions are prohibited.
